Why Yū

Yu comes from the Sanskrit root yuj — the same root that gave us yoga. Not yoga as a physical practice, but yoga as a concept: the union of opposites. Mind and body. Effort and stillness. Self and source.

That's exactly what happens after heat and cold. The sauna quiets the noise. The plunge sharpens the mind. In the stillness that follows, something clicks back into place — more clarity, more presence, more of yourself. This isn't a wellness claim. It's something people have felt for thousands of years.
